Now that you’ve shed the “technophobe” title we can get down to business.

The “business” of this is simple…

The best way to get to your $60/day is to QUICKLY learn a “tech skill” and then improve on it over time by learning on the job.

I’m not talking about quickly mastering a tech skill here. You just need to get good enough to make $60/day.

It’s what I did and it’s what I’m going to show you how to do.

There’s just one problem though…

There are almost 100 different job categories on Upwork, the largest online freelancing site…

That’s almost 100 different roads you could go down.

How do you choose between 100 different skills?

Most people don’t. They freeze.

They never start learning a skill because there are so many options.

What do you do then?

Throw a dart?

I’ve got a better idea…

It involves a giant wooden horse.

I’m sure you know the story of the “Trojan Horse” but if not here’s a quick summary:

While trying to capture the city of Troy, the Greeks “gifted” the Trojans a giant wooden horse before sailing away in retreat.

The unsuspecting Trojans accepted the gift as a token of surrender and displayed the horse proudly inside the city walls.

That night the Greek soldiers hidden inside the horse climbed out and opened the gates for the rest of their army who had returned after nightfall.

And thus, the fall of Troy.

Now if you are wondering what they hell this has to do with freelancing and world travel then I don’t blame you.

I’ve included the story of the Trojan Horse here because I am going to show you how you can implement the Trojan Horse strategy to start your freelancing career.

In my not-so-humble opinion, the Trojan Horse of freelancing is Web Development.

More simply, building websites for people is the best way to get started freelancing.

Don’t let your inner-technophobe come rearing its ugly head here. You can do this.

In fact on the next page I’m going to show you step-by-step how to quickly learn the skills you need to employ this Trojan Horse but first let me explain why it’s the best way to get to $6o/day:

1) There are an almost infinite number of jobs

A lot of people get stuck here. “There’s too much competition” they say. “Not enough jobs.”

But is that true? Let’s take a quick look.

I’m going to need you to help me here. Can you do that?

Okay cool. Picture the main downtown area in the city you are currently living in.

I’m talking about the street with the most businesses. Restaurants. Bars. Laundromats. Lawyers Offices. You know the street.

Now I want you to think about every business on that street. Do they already have a website? If so does that website suck?

I’d be willing to bet that there are at least ten businesses in your current city that have either no website or a terrible one.

Now add in all of the other businesses in your city that fall into the same category. And then multiply that by every town in the U.S.

That’s A LOT of websites that need building!!!

And that’s just the U.S. With the technology we have now this is a global game.

2) A website is just the beginning

Back to that giant wooden horse…

Just like the Trojans when you build a website you get your foot in the door with one of those businesses that needed a website.

It’s a sneak attack that the business owner doesn’t see coming but is happy when she finally does.

You see each of those businesses is exactly that: a business.

That means that after you build them a website you are very likely to get a call that goes something like this:

Biz owner: “Hey the website looks great but I was wondering…do you know anything about Instagram?”

You: “As a matter of fact I do. Do you need some help with your Instagram marketing?”

Biz owner: “Yeah that would be great and while you are at it can you put some blog posts on my site?”

You: **muahahaha! This is all going according to plan!** 😈😈😈

See? A funny thing happens when you get your foot in the door with a business owner. They now associate you with “all things tech”. Congratulations, you have officially become their tech guy/gal.

3) You can learn web development in a crazy short period of time

This isn’t about becoming the best web designer in the world. That’s a near impossible goal.

The funny thing about web development though is that everyone assumes you need to spend four years in college learning how to “code” and then every waking hour after that sipping Mountain Dew and hacking your way to a six-figure a year job.

Peel back the curtain a little bit though and you realize that isn’t reality.

Sure to go work at Google or Facebook you’ll need a degree or an insane level of skills.

But we aren’t trying to work at Google or Facebook.

We are trying to make $60/day from anywhere in the world.

And guess what?

You can get your skills up to that level in almost no time.

I’m talking a few weeks here. A few months at most.

How do I know?

Because I’ve seen it happen with my own two eyes time and time again.

On the next page I’ll show you how you can do it to.
